If thin-film analysis tools are what you are looking for, then k-Space Associates is your provider. Founded in Dexter, Michigan, in 1992, k-Space produces state-of-the-art tools and computer programs for the thin-film and photovoltaic industries.
Thin films are usually applied in production of semiconductors like cell phones, laptops and solar panel. They are made from a variety of materials such as glass, silicon, and aluminum. Deposition methods have to be executed in very high quality in order to ensure consistency, and they can be closely monitored with k-Space tools that measure thin-film stress and other factors. These tools optically measure and monitor thin-film production processes in real time, ensuring high-quality output.
Representatives for k-Space will be at the DGKK Epitaxy of III/V Semiconductors Workshop 2018 in Paderborn, Germany, and at Semicon Japan 2018 in Tokyo, both in December.
